If a technician clocks onto a job in another workshop in error, he disappeared from the technicians clocking screen (and reappears in the other workshop). He cannot then repair any clocking errors.
To prevent this issue, the technician will always appear on both his "home" workshop clocking screen and the workshop of any job he has clocked onto.

If two sales administrators had the same vehicle on screen, and one transferred the vehicle to another branch - when the other updated the record it recreated the vehicle record in the original branch. The system now rejects any updates in this scenario.

If a vehicle credit note was created after creating a supplementary invoice for a negative value, the credit notes generated were incorrect and the nominal ledger entries generated were out of balance. This has now been fixed.

1 - When adding or editing a clock time, the clock time before and after the clock time entered are automatically adjusted to "butt up" to the new clock line. Pay is recalculated accordingly.
2 - Now defaults to today's date for display.
3 - Adding a new clocking doesn't prompt for a pay rate - it is calculated at the technicians standard rate (this can then subsequently be overridden).

Model codes with no "Carline" code (this is the code used for the model description and therefore where the accounting analysis comes from) are no longer imported. Whilst this will generate extra issues in the short term, it will force the issue to be reported to Volkswagen for correction prior to vehicles being incorrectly added to the system.

1 - The price list from VW contains all models going back to 2009. The import routine now only loads for the current and previous model years.

The columns on the AutoVHC export were not lining up correctly due to customers with commas in their surnames. The commas have now been removed from the data to stop this issue from occurring.

If a technician clocked off a job card but in the meantime another user had the job up on screen, the mileage on the customers vehicle would be overwritten by the original mileage when the job card was closed.
An update has been made to prevent this from happening.

On occasions a sales ledger account which was over it's credit limit would allow an invoice to be raised. This is due to the Sales Ledger account balance being incorrectly calculated. To resolve this an addition to the overnight routine has been added to recalculate all the Sales Ledger balances.

The Aftersales Contact Management facility provides a hierarchical, multi-channel follow up system for Service and MOT follow ups;. It has an option of four different contact methods!
