New Vehicle System

The New Vehicle System interface with Navigator goes live in July 2010 when Volkswagen switch off the old "Dialog" vehicle order and tracking system and move to the SLI system for vehicle ordering.

In principle the interface with Navigator remains the same as the existing interface with the following changes :-

•Vehicle Price List is automatically updated (this is manual pre NVS).

•Price List is configured differently - the main changes are that there are no options for Metallic Paint or Leather trim - instead each colour and trim option is listed seperately)

•Sli Order Nos are 8 digit nos (compared to the 6 digit Commission no used historically).

•Consignment and Invoice no's are also longer.
