1.How does the system work with sharing a bonus?
The shared bonus is calculated by the system by using the technician’s efficiency and hours that they have worked on the workshop job. The bonus is then split fairly depending on their efficiency and hours worked. Unless, the time allocated on the Workshop job is overwritten.

2.What if they have billed the customer for 1.5 hours but they know the job will take 2 hours?
Go into the workshop job and double click the required job line. Enter a Tech Time of 2 hours.
The technicians bonus and pay etc. will be calculated as normal ignoring the time charged to the customer.

3.What if the job makes a loss? Does the system calculate this?
The system will calculate the bonus on any losses. E.g. If the job should have been £60 and only £40 was charged the technician will receive 2/3 of the bonus.

4.How is the payable bonus calculated on the detailed period clock card?
Review the left hand side of the report. The payable bonus is calculated by deducting the Non Payable Productive time from the bonus total.

5.What is the calculation used to determine the pay?
(Hours Charged – Time Taken) * Pay rate + Clock in time + Absence
